One of the hottest topics coming out of KubeCon 2017 Austin was "service meshes", with a focus on the Istio and Envoy projects. We've covered the basics of service meshes on a Basics show a few weeks ago, but given the interest in the topic, we wanted to go into more details.
This week we sat down with Red Hat's Christian Posta (@christianposta) to discuss the evolution of microservices, SOA and the need for more platform-centric services for new applications.
The show will always be available on this blog (search: #PodCTL), as well as RSS Feeds, iTunes, Google Play, Stitcher, TuneIn and all your favorite podcast players.
