Metering Microservices on OpenShift with 6fusion’s Delano Seymour: Commons Briefing #13 - Archived

In this Video

In this recording of the latest OpenShift Commons Briefing, Delano Seymour, CTO of 6fusion, discusses an approach to measuring and using data in a microservices-driven application landscape.

OpenShift 3 provides a flexible platform to deploy and manage containers and facilitate microservices (lightweight services that can be combined to form applications), including automatic and independent scaling.

6fusion has developed an approach to measuring and metering microservices by combining six resources (from CPU to IO) and current service inventory into a single metric that can be used in reporting, analytics, and billing.

NOTE: This briefing is based on a beta version of OpenShift 3 – features and content are subject to change prior to release. For the latest information on OpenShift 3 and available briefings, please visit OpenShift Commons.
