What inspired you to be a developer?
It is amazing to know what you can do with computers today. Software development is more of an art than a profession and what can be more satisfying than crafting things all by yourself?
Why did you choose OpenShift as your hosting platform?
Ease of use, reliability and performance.
What advantages does OpenShift give you that other hosting platforms don’t?
A very comprehensive and developer friendly command line tool set, SSH access and a powerful dashboard that just works!

- Name: ComPair
- What does it do? Match Peers and Make Pairs. Connect your Facebook account with the application to compare your facebook friends and see who would make a great pair! Post it on your wall to share the fun!
- What technologies were used to create your app? Rails 3, Bootstrap 2 and Typeahead JS
- What motivated you to create this application and what problems does it solve? It was purely intended for fun and nothing else. You can compare pairs of your friends from Facebook and rate them.
- If your application is Open Source, how can others contribute or get involved? Absolutely! It is hosted at Github – https://github.com/dtsdwarak/compair. Feel free to make a fork and contribute!
