It’s hard not to see DockerCon2014 as anything other than a resounding success.
Even at this early stage, some are already making claims that containers might just save the world. While “world saving” might be a bit of a stretch, in many ways DockerCon was indeed a revolutionary event for the open source community. Which is why I’m proud to present my highlights and an overview of Red Hat’s contributions from DockerCon 2014.

Broadcast Your Slideshow Presentations with Socket.io and Reveal.js

Broadcasting with RevealjsReveal.js has been my favorite project for generating slideshow presentations for quite some time. It looks great! And, if you can handle a little html markup, or even markdown – then it’s quite simple to use as well.

Over the last year I’ve used it to share my slides at more than 20 different events, qualifying it as one of the real “killer apps” of the open cloud (at least for me).
